Jeju Province announced that on the afternoon of the 5th, they located Mr. A, a contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case from Busan who had lost contact after arriving in Jeju, tested him, and quarantined him in a facility.
According to health authorities, Mr. A was informed at a public health center in Busan that he was a contact of a confirmed case but refused the COVID-19 test and lost contact. The province, in cooperation with the police, conducted a search operation around Yeondong area in Jeju City and found Mr. A at 7 p.m. that day.
