Naver Adds Information from Overseas Companies like 'Weather Channel' to Weather Section
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver will provide weather information not only from the Korea Meteorological Administration but also from overseas weather specialist companies.
According to Naver on the 4th, Naver Weather now offers forecast information for over 6,000 domestic locations provided by overseas companies Weather Channel and Accuweather.
Early next year, forecasts from Weather News, a company specializing in aviation weather services, will also be added.
Users can select the region they want to check the weather forecast for on Naver Weather, and by clicking the logo of each provider, they can view the weather forecast information provided by that company.
The number of users who set the 'Notification' feature for Naver Weather information increased by more than 1 million this year. Visitors to the weather service increased by over 40% compared to last year.

A Naver official stated, "We have provided a service that allows users to compare and choose forecasts from overseas weather specialist companies in order to expand users' access to information."
