Contact with Confirmed Case Before Suneung Exam Day... Self-Quarantined Student Transported to Test Site with Fire Brigade Assistance
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] In Yangju-si, Gyeonggi Province, five self-quarantined examinees who had contact with COVID-19 confirmed examinees took the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on the 3rd with the help of the 119 Fire Department.
A fire department official stated on the day, "We ensured that there were no disruptions to the CSAT attendance by deploying dedicated ambulances for the self-quarantined examinees."
According to the Yangju Fire Station, they had been self-quarantined after coming into contact with confirmed examinees around 8 p.m. on the day before the CSAT (the 2nd), and were transported by fire department ambulances to a test site in Dongducheon-si.
The fire department plans to transport the examinees back home from the test site once the exam is over.
