BMW Korea, Subscription-Based Vehicle Management Service 'BMW Prime' Pre-Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] BMW Korea announced on the 3rd that it will pre-open the subscription-based vehicle management service package, ‘BMW Prime’.
BMW Prime is targeted at customers whose BSI consumable replacement service and warranty program for parts have expired (limited to vehicles less than 8 years old from delivery).
BMW Prime can be subscribed on an annual basis, and depending on the subscription package, customers can enjoy various service benefits necessary for vehicle management.
First, when subscribing to the ‘BMW Prime Standard Package,’ customers can receive a free vehicle inspection service during the subscription period, along with one-time replacement of engine oil and air conditioner filter at no additional cost. Additionally, a 20% discount on repair costs is provided at all times, along with pickup & delivery service, airport shuttle, and airport services such as vehicle parking during travel (excluding vehicle inspection).
If the total mileage is within 200,000 km, customers can subscribe to the ‘BMW Prime Premium Package.’ The BMW Prime Premium Package includes the benefits of the Standard Package plus powertrain warranty repair service. The powertrain repair limit is 10 million KRW, with a deductible of 100,000 KRW per case.
The price of BMW Prime varies depending on the model and vehicle age, starting from 390,000 KRW for the Standard Package and 920,000 KRW for the Premium Package (each based on one year) for the 5 Series.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the pre-opening, BMW Korea will recruit 200 customers who meet the subscription conditions on a first-come, first-served basis starting December 14 for a pre-experience group. Customers who subscribe through the ‘BMW Plus’ app will be offered package discounts and the opportunity to experience service benefits before the official launch.
