SBI Savings Bank Provides AI-Based Voice Phishing Prevention Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] SBI Savings Bank announced on the 3rd that it has partnered with the voice phishing prevention app Phishing Eyes to protect financial consumers' valuable assets from voice phishing and will provide the service.
Phishing Eyes is an app that uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze suspicious voice phishing text messages and phishing calls sent to customers' mobile phones in real time, automatically detects malicious applications and remote control applications (apps) installed on the phone, and provides real-time damage prevention alert services when suspicious circumstances occur.
After customers install the Phishing Eyes app, it analyzes the phone's text messages, call patterns, and app installation information, and if signs of voice phishing are detected, the information is shared with SBI Savings Bank's Fraud Detection System (FDS).
SBI Savings Bank will use the voice phishing suspicious information shared with the FDS to monitor and guide customers at risk of voice phishing to recognize signs of voice phishing before loan execution.
