[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] North Korea sent a congratulatory message in the name of Chairman Kim Jong-un on the occasion of Laos' National Day, emphasizing the friendly cooperative relationship and solidarity between socialist countries.
On the 3rd, the Korean Central News Agency reported, "Comrade Kim Jong-un sent a congratulatory message to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Bounnhang Vorachith."
In the message, Chairman Kim stated, "On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the founding of Laos, I send my warmest congratulations to General Secretary Comrade and the fraternal Lao Party, government, and people," adding, "Over the past 45 years since its founding, Laos has firmly upheld the socialist ideology under the leadership of the People's Revolutionary Party despite various internal and external challenges and accumulating difficulties."
He also emphasized the traditional friendly cooperative relationship. He conveyed, "On this occasion, I express my confidence that the traditional friendly cooperative relationship between our two parties and two countries, which was established and has been unwaveringly strengthened and developed on the path of joint struggle for socialism, will be further solidified and advanced."
