[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends Winter Support Fund Ceremony at Seonunsa Temple in Sanggye-dong
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 2nd at 3:30 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the 2021 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Fund Donation Ceremony held at the mayor’s office, hosted by Seonunsa Temple (Jang Woo-cheol).
Seonunsa Temple (Daehan Buddhism Beopseongjong) is a temple located in Sanggye 3 and 4-dong.
The event was organized to express the intention to participate by donating 10 million won as a warm winter fund to help neighbors struggling due to COVID-19.
The warm winter fund will later be used to support low-income families in the area with living expenses, medical expenses, housing costs, and more.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Mayor Oh Seung-rok and representatives from Seonunsa Temple, proceeding with the fund transfer and commemorative photo session.
