Gwangju Seo-gu Operates Policy Proposal Online Platform 'Seo-gu Toktok'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) announced on the 2nd that it has launched the online interactive communication window Seo-gu Online Platform ‘Seo-gu Toktok,’ which enables resident participation throughout the entire policy process.
Seo-gu Toktok is an online interactive communication system that allows citizens to directly participate in and propose policies, enabling proposals that receive significant public support to become Seo-gu’s policies.
If more than 30 citizens agree with a proposal, the proposal’s feasibility will be reviewed through the Proposal Review Committee, and the execution of the proposed policy will be decided.
In particular, menus such as surveys and voting where opinions on Seo-gu policies can be presented, and contests and submissions that allow participation in various Seo-gu projects, are expected to greatly contribute to enhancing two-way communication with residents.
Seo-gu Toktok can be easily used through frequently used social network service accounts (Naver, KakaoTalk, Facebook) and simple authentication via text message or mobile phone.
Currently, a participation event is underway and will be held through the event board on the homepage until the 31st.
