KT IS, Integrated Connection Information Site ‘114On’ Revamped
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT IS, which operates the number inquiry 114, is changing its internet phone number site to ‘114On’.
According to KT on the 1st, ‘114On’ is a web service that allows users to register, manage, and search not only business landline phone numbers but also mobile phone numbers, safe numbers, SNS, and websites. ‘114On’ holds a database of 16 million entries based on the landline telephone database (DB) of Number Inquiry 114. It provides general information such as phone numbers, addresses, and maps, as well as spam/fraud phone numbers and account numbers.
If users cannot obtain the desired phone number or connection information, they can use community services such as ‘Ask and Answer’ and ‘User Reports’ on ‘114On’ for assistance. Additionally, while portals or Number Inquiry 114 previously allowed only business owners with a business registration certificate to register and promote information, ‘114On’ enables individuals providing freelance services such as lessons, errands, and repairs to register their own information and utilize it for promotion.
