According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters as of midnight on the 29th, the number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Korea increased by 450, bringing the total to 33,824. This is a decrease of 54 cases from the previous day's 504, dropping below 500 for the first time in four days.
Among the 450 new confirmed cases, 413 were locally transmitted and 37 were imported. The number of locally transmitted cases was in the 400s for the second consecutive day, following 486 cases the day before.
