Yeonggwang-gun to Launch 'Hope 2021 Sharing Campaign' Starting Next Month on the 1st
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 27th that from next month 1st to January 31st of next year (62 days), it will carry out the ‘Hope 2021 Sharing Campaign’ under the slogan ‘Continue Hope through Sharing’.
Donations are accepted only through the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest and media outlets, and donations can be made using the online reception window of financial institutions. The Social Welfare Division and eup/myeon offices also act as collection agents.
The collected donations are redistributed to the county through the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest and are supported in various fields that complement public welfare services such as emergency support, social welfare facility support, housing repair projects for low-income families, and support for neighbors in need.
Every year, the amount of donations allocated to the county is more than 200% of the collected amount. The more donations collected, the more funds are allocated to the county, and the more people participate, the more benefits neighbors in need in the region can receive.
