Honam University Career Center Holds Presentation for Corporate Analysis Competition
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Honam University Career Development Center recently announced on the 25th that it held the presentation and awards ceremony for the Corporate Analysis Competition, conducted in collaboration with the Career Development Centers of Nambu University and Gwangju Women's University.
The event was conducted in a blended format, combining both in-person and online participation.
The Corporate Analysis Competition began with an orientation on the 30th of last month and involved 10 teams, each consisting of 2 to 5 members, totaling 34 participants. Over the course of a month, each team received three consulting sessions to select their target company, prepare corporate analysis presentation materials, and deliver their presentations.
The grand prize was awarded to the team "Modu-ui Guide" (So-ye Cho and three others from Honam University’s Department of Hotel Management). The Excellence Award went to "Dynamite," the Merit Awards were given to "Human Gulimche and Bitgaram," and the Encouragement Award was presented to the team "Hyangjang-ui Kkot."
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, only the presenters participated in person, while team members joined remotely. An audience evaluation panel was formed mainly from remote participants to directly assess the presenting teams, enhancing the objectivity of the judging and increasing audience engagement.
Additionally, while the judging results were being tallied, a quiz event titled "Match the Youth Employment Policy!" was held, with prizes awarded. This entertaining approach provided information on employment policies and programs beneficial to young people.
Kim Geon-jung from Honam University’s Department of Fashion Design said, “Through the program, I was able to draw a concrete employment roadmap for my desired company, gained confidence and a sense of accomplishment by presenting directly, and was motivated by seeing the results of other teams.”
