Two More COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Daejeon, 'Workplace Transmission'
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Daejeon has increased by 2. The additional confirmed cases were found to have had contact with other confirmed cases at their workplace.
According to Daejeon City on the 25th, two employees of Company A (Daejeon cases 463 and 464) were simultaneously confirmed positive. Case 463 is a woman in her 50s, the wife of the company representative, and case 464 is a woman in her 30s, the daughter-in-law of the company representative.
The husband of case 463 (the company representative) tested negative for COVID-19. However, the husband and two children of case 465 are scheduled for testing in the morning.
Previously, one employee in their 50s (case 462, female) at Company A was confirmed positive the day before.

The quarantine authorities have not yet identified the infection route of case 462 and are currently conducting an epidemiological investigation into the movements and contacts of the confirmed cases.
