Power Supply of 22,900V Started to Gwangju Global Motors
Holding a Water Purification and Electrical Safety Ritual Ceremony
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju Global Motors Co., Ltd. (GGM) announced on the 24th that it held a power reception ceremony and an electrical safety prayer ceremony.
The event, held at 10 a.m. at the Bitgreen Industrial Complex factory construction site, was attended by about 60 executives and employees from the headquarters, including CEO Park Kwang-tae.
With this power reception ceremony, GGM is expected to gain momentum in factory construction as it will receive 22,900V power and 20,000 kWh from Korea Electric Power Corporation.
Before the power reception ceremony, GGM held an electrical safety prayer ceremony to wish for zero accidents and safety.

CEO Park Kwang-tae said, “Today marks the day when 22,900V of power from Korea Electric Power Corporation is supplied, signifying the start of another new chapter at the factory site,” adding, “Especially since power issues are directly related to safety, I ask not only the site managers but all executives and employees to pay special attention to safety to prevent any electrical accidents under any circumstances.”
