View original image[Asia Economy (Gongju) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Fourteen people in Gongju, Chungnam, have tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). All of these confirmed cases are confirmed to be related to Gongju Purme Nursing Hospital.
According to Chungnam Province and Gongju City on the 24th, a nurse in her 40s (Sejong case No. 88) and a nursing assistant (Sejong case No. 89) were first confirmed positive at this nursing hospital the day before.
As a result, the quarantine authorities conducted a full inspection of 286 people, including 185 patients admitted to the nursing hospital and 101 staff members, and 13 additional confirmed cases were identified.
Among these confirmed cases, 3 are nurses and 10 are patients. The age distribution is 4 people in their 80s, 3 people in their 70s, 2 people in their 90s, 2 people in their 50s, and 1 person each in their 40s and 60s.
