Galleria Department Store Opens 'Louis Vuitton×NBA' Pop-up Store in Luxury Hall
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Galleria Department Store is opening a pop-up store for the 'LV x NBA Capsule Collection,' a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and the American professional basketball NBA, for the first time in Korea until the 29th.
The LV x NBA Capsule Collection is the first menswear capsule collection born from the partnership between Louis Vuitton and the NBA. Menswear Artistic Director Virgil Abloh, inspired by French craftsmanship and American sports culture, presents various limited-edition products including clothing and accessories that combine the emblems of Louis Vuitton and the NBA. The designs also feature various basketball-related motifs.
As part of this partnership, Louis Vuitton has agreed to produce the official travel case for the ‘Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy,’ awarded to the NBA Finals winning team, for three years. The case incorporates a ‘V’ shape design symbolizing victory, and uses deep blue, the iconic color of the NBA, to highlight the Larry O'Brien Trophy. This pop-up store offers the first opportunity to see this travel case in Korea.
