This result is interpreted as an achievement that captures the essence of French cuisine through collaboration with two world-class chefs: Pierre Gagnaire, praised as the pinnacle of French cuisine, and Yannick All?no, known as the crown prince of the French culinary world. Notably, only five French restaurants were selected in this year's Michelin Guide Seoul edition.
Located on the 35th floor of the Executive Tower at Lotte Hotel Seoul, Pierre Gagnaire Seoul is considered the starting point of French dining. Chef Pierre Gagnaire, a grand chef beloved by gourmets, introduced authentic French cuisine to Seoul in 2008 following Hong Kong and Tokyo, drawing significant attention. Since its reopening in September 2018, it has maintained its status as a Michelin 1-star restaurant for two consecutive years. Pierre Gagnaire Seoul offers a delicate culinary world through artistic and original dishes that emphasize lines and colors.
At Stay, a modern French restaurant located on the 81st floor of Signiel Seoul with a panoramic view of the city, you can experience the unique cuisine of Yannick All?no, known as the crown prince of French cuisine. Since its opening in 2017, Stay has earned a Michelin 1-star rating for three consecutive years, establishing itself as a representative modern French restaurant in Korea. Stay's dishes, which combine vibrant colors, unique shapes, various seasonal ingredients, and a variety of spices, are loved by many customers.
A Lotte Hotel official said, “We are pleased that Stay and Pierre Gagnaire Seoul have once again been selected as Michelin star restaurants loved by travelers worldwide,” and added, “In these times when overseas travel is restricted, we recommend a gourmet journey enjoying the authentic taste of France at Lotte Hotel.”
