Priority Dispatch Service on Exam Day for Registered Disabled Call Taxi Examinee Customers...Priority Dispatch Service on Exam Day for Registered Disabled Call Taxi Examinee Customers from November 24 to December 3
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seoul Facilities Corporation (Chairman Jo Seong-il) will provide a ‘Priority Dispatch Service for Disabled Call Taxis’ for disabled examinees taking the 2021 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on December 3, 2020.
The eligible users are examinee customers registered with the disabled call taxi (Grade 1 and 2 physical disabilities and those with severe walking disabilities), and advance reservations can be made by phone at the Seoul Facilities Corporation Disabled Call Taxi Operation Office from November 24 until the test day, December 3, for ten days.
Applications are available for both entering the test site on the CSAT day and returning home after the exam ends.
The priority dispatch service for disabled examinees, which started in 2008, was established to help examinees who need to use disabled call taxis during peak commuting hours to conveniently travel to the test site.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, wearing a mask is mandatory when boarding Seoul disabled call taxis. Seoul Facilities Corporation thoroughly disinfects handrails, footrests, and other areas with disinfectants before and after passenger rides.
Jo Seong-il, Chairman of Seoul Facilities Corporation, said, “Since this service is prepared for students with disabilities, we ask for the cooperation and understanding of other users on the CSAT day. Even examinees who did not make advance reservations will be given priority dispatch if they apply on the test day.”
Additionally, the corporation plans to actively promote the service by sending text messages about priority dispatch to examinees registered with the disabled call taxi and issuing official letters to disability organizations.
