Seongbuk-gu Traditional Market Online Promotion Contest
From November 19 to December 7, a promotional contest to revitalize traditional markets will be held... Applications open for photo and blog categories under the theme 'Promoting Seongbuk-gu Traditional Markets'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Seungro Lee) is holding the 'Seongbuk-gu Traditional Market Online Promotion Contest' to revitalize traditional markets that have been stagnant due to COVID-19.
The contest, themed 'Promoting Traditional Markets,' targets six traditional markets in Seongbuk-gu (Gireum Market, Donam Market, Dolgoti Market, Jangwi Traditional Market, Jeongneung Market, Jeongneung Arirang Market) and will be held from the 19th of this month until the 7th of next month.
Anyone who uses the markets can participate without restrictions, and the contest categories are photography and blogging, with up to three submissions allowed per person.
The photography category is open to any subject, while the blogging category offers four themes for participants to choose from and write about: promotional posts about Seongbuk-gu traditional markets, reviews of using Zero Pay at Seongbuk-gu traditional markets, reviews of using mobile gift certificates at Seongbuk-gu traditional markets, and reviews of using online delivery services at Seongbuk-gu traditional markets.
In line with the purpose, participants must post on their own SNS (Social Network Service) with the hashtags ‘#Seongbuk-gu’, ‘#(Name of the visited market)’, and ‘#Seongbuk-guAttractions’, then fill out the application form on the Seongbuk Market Event website.
Seongbuk-gu will select 66 winners in the photography category and 7 winners in the blogging category from the submitted works, awarding up to 500,000 KRW for photography and up to 800,000 KRW for blogging.
The selected works will be used for promotional materials and other publicity efforts for traditional markets.
