Boseong-gun Supports Farm Brand Development... Contributing to Farmers' Income Generation
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 18th, Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is helping successful return-to-farming startups through the return-to-farming startup activation support project by branding returnee farms and launching products.
This year, two returnees were selected to support the commercialization of various products using barley shoot powder and sword bean, contributing to increased farm income.
JM Agricultural Corporation and Simgok Farm, which participated in this project, received △consulting on agricultural tax and management, HACCP certification, △processing and commercialization of products such as barley shoot powder, green tea powder, burdock tea, and sword bean-related teas, powders, and pill products, and △development of packaging materials and establishment of e-commerce infrastructure including website and online sales business.
The representative who participated in this project said, “Although we had been producing and selling products before, it was difficult to make consumers recognize the uniqueness of the products because there was no farm brand. Through this project, by developing the farm brand logo, it feels like the value of the products and continuous sales channels have opened.”
An official from the Boseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center stated, “We will discover various programs so that new farmers can settle well in Boseong-gun and become a successful model of local agriculture, and we will accelerate support and education for the stable settlement of returnees in farming.”
