[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeonnam Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 18th that during the comprehensive diagnostic testing conducted at Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital related to Gwangju patient number 549, one nurse residing in Gwangju tested positive.
The confirmed patient, classified as Jeonnam patient number 285, worked in a different ward from Gwangju patient number 549 and showed no suspicious symptoms before the test.
The confirmed patient is known to have commuted using bus number 217 between Namgwangju Nonghyup bus stop in Gwangju and Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital.
The county urgently disinfected and restricted access and movement in the ward where the confirmed patient worked, and is currently investigating the infection route and additional movement paths of the confirmed patient.
