View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 16th that it won the Best Marketing Award at the ‘2020 Seoul International Tourism Expo’.
Hosted by Cotfa Co., Ltd. and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Korea Tourism Organization, this expo was held at SETEC in Seoul, with participation from local governments nationwide, over 20 countries including Japan and Russia, and a total of more than 300 booths and organizations. It successfully concluded on the 12th.
Gangjin-gun promoted the ‘Living One Week in Gangjin’ project, which is a key initiative this year, to introduce Gangjin, while also engaging in various activities such as promoting content projects like the 1-night 2-day Puso Experience City Tour and the Joseon Encounter Time Project.
Additionally, they operated a celadon exhibition and wheel-throwing demonstration, along with a celadon shadow photo zone.
In particular, they created a photo zone reproducing the Gangjin Bay reed field and a photo zone for the Jomangan (Joseon Encounter Time) project where visitors could take pictures wearing hanbok. They held an event where photos taken inside the booth were instantly printed and given to visitors.
Furthermore, promotional effects were maximized through events such as Gangjin-gun tourist site initial consonant quizzes and gallery quizzes.
