Bungaejangter, Check Used Phone Prices and Sell All in One Place
'Naepohnsise' Service Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bungejangter, a secondhand trading platform (CEO Lee Jae-hoo), announced on the 16th that it has partnered with UPM (CEO Yoo Sang-hyun), which provides big data services for used phones, to launch the 'Naepohn Sise' service that allows users to check prices and trade all within the app. This strategy aims to expand its presence in the domestic used phone market, where about 15 million used phones are traded annually, by emphasizing accurate price information and convenience.
UPM is a specialized used smartphone trading platform that provides big data analysis based on transaction data from over 600 used phone distribution companies. It holds accumulated transaction data of over 50 million cases and aggregates more than 1 million actual used phone transactions monthly to predict purchase prices, enabling users to estimate reasonable prices for transactions.
The 'Naepohn Sise' feature provided in the Bungejangter app utilizes accurate price data from UPM. By simply entering the model and capacity of various used smartphones, users can check current price information. In particular, users can view the average price over the past two months in a graph, allowing them to plan used phone transactions at an appropriate time considering their desired selling price.
The process of selling after checking the price is also simple. Users can apply by entering the account number for settlement through the 'Apply for Sale' feature within the service, enabling inspection and price estimation of the used phone without visiting a phone store or agency directly. Once the sale is confirmed after price estimation, settlement is completed within 24 hours on weekdays.
