[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity will hold the '2020 Science Culture Content Festa' (hereinafter Festa) from the 16th on the science culture portal 'ScienceAll'.
This Festa is held under the theme 'Science Culture in Our Daily Lives, Closer Than You Think' and is open to everyone. The event consists of programs such as the Future Science Culture Content Idea Contest and the 'Science Culture Content of the Year' chosen by the public.
The contest is conducted in a way that the public directly plans and proposes various science culture contents such as science education programs, science lectures, performances, exhibitions, and science play that they want to experience around them. Proposals can be submitted until the 4th of next month, and the winning works will be selected through a public vote at the 2020 Korea Science and Technology Exhibition (December). The top three winners will receive the Minister of Science and ICT Award. Additionally, they will be commercialized as new science culture programs next year.
The 'Science Culture Content of the Year' chosen by the public will select winners through a public vote until the 16th, from over 200 science culture contents released this year in six categories: movies, broadcasting, web stories (webtoons and web novels), SF novels (books), exhibitions, and performances.
