View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Employees of NH Nonghyup Bank's Foreign Exchange Division visited the Cheonyeon-dong Community Center in Seodaemun-gu on Agricultural Day (the 11th) and donated 500kg of domestic rice to be distributed to the underprivileged in the area, the bank announced on the 12th.
The domestic rice delivered that day was prepared using the prize money awarded to the Foreign Exchange Division for "Outstanding Performance in Foreign Exchange Derivatives Business in 2019." The act of sharing and love for rural communities was doubled by being able to help both the underprivileged and struggling farmers together.
The Cheonyeon-dong Community Center plans to distribute the newly harvested rice received as a donation to low-income elderly residents living alone in the area.
