Publication of the Gwangju Dong-gu "What Does the Health Center Do?" Guidebook
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 12th that it has published a booklet to guide residents on health projects and integrated health promotion projects.
The booklet titled "What Does Dong-gu Health Center Do?" was created to help residents easily understand the integrated health promotion projects provided by the health center, tailored to life cycle and disease-specific characteristics.
The integrated health promotion projects consist of 13 programs including ▲physical activity ▲nutrition ▲obesity ▲cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases ▲oral health ▲smoking cessation ▲dementia management.
These projects reflect the characteristics of each region and the needs of residents, and the services and detailed programs provided by each local health center differ.
Accordingly, Dong-gu summarized and organized the integrated health promotion services and programs available at Dong-gu Health Center to ensure that no residents miss out on benefits due to lack of awareness.
The booklet clearly categorizes and organizes the health center’s main tasks, including ▲healthcare services ▲life cycle health management services ▲civil service, allowing residents to grasp various services at a glance.
Dong-gu plans to actively utilize the booklet by distributing it directly to related organizations and linking a QR code on the cover to allow access via the health center’s website.
