[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 12th that it won the 'Korea Social Media Award in the Corporate Category' and the 'Empathy Content Award in the Promotion Content Category' at the 13th Korea Communication Awards.
The Korea Communication Awards is an awards ceremony related to communication and marketing, hosted by the Korea Internet Communication Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, among others. It evaluates and awards the usability of social media by corporations and public institutions, as well as digital-based communication indices.
IBK Industrial Bank was recognized for easily introducing COVID-19 related financial policies and services on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, blogs, etc., thereby improving customers' financial accessibility and reducing inconvenience.
In particular, the Instagram cartoons (Instagram webtoons) serialized weekly on the official Instagram since last June, such as "Salary Logs Out Immediately After Logging In" and "Mysterious Card Bill," have received positive responses from office workers in their 20s and 30s, the bank said.
