According to Daegu City on the 12th, two members of Yesu Joongsim Church residing in Seo-gu and Dong-gu tested positive in tests conducted just before their self-quarantine was lifted. As a result, the number of confirmed cases related to this church in the Daegu area has increased to 34, including church members and contacts, within half a month since the first patient was reported on the 27th of last month.
In addition to the two Yesu Joongsim Church members, one resident of Buk-gu tested positive on the 11th after being diagnosed at the Dongdaegu Station walk-through test following arrival from Nepal on the 10th.
Thus, as of midnight on the 12th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Daegu stands at 7,201 (7,109 local infections, 92 imported cases).
