Paldo Launches 'Paldo Bibim Men Third Winter Edition' with Added Fish Cake Broth
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Paldo announced on the 12th that it will launch the 'Paldo Bibimmyun Winter Edition' to welcome the winter season.
Now in its third year, the Bibimmyun Winter Edition is a seasonal limited product that Paldo has released every winter since 2018.
With this product launch, Paldo plans to continue the winter sales growth trend of 'Bibimmyun.' In fact, since the introduction of the Bibimmyun Winter Edition, winter sales of Bibimmyun have increased by about 35% annually on average. Thanks to this, the annual sales volume has steadily increased every year. In July of this year, the brand surpassed 100 million units in annual sales in the shortest time in its history.
The product features an addition of fish cake broth soup separate from the existing Bibimmyun. Until last year, udon broth soup was included, but reflecting customer feedback desiring a new edition, this year it contains fish cake broth soup. The soup is powdered with green onions, radish, anchovies, and Busan fish cake, allowing consumers to easily enjoy warm fish cake broth by simply mixing it with water. It will be sold in a limited quantity of 5 million units, and the price remains the same as the existing retail price.
