[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 9th that it held a selection ceremony for the 63rd branch of the ‘Hope Blossoms Study Room’ at the ‘Bethel Regional Children’s Center’ located in Jungheung-dong, Buk-gu.
The ‘Bethel Regional Children’s Center,’ selected as a ‘Hope Blossoms Study Room,’ is a child welfare facility that helps local children grow into healthy members of society, where 29 children receive after-school care services and study guidance.
Employees of the Gwangju Bank Community Love Volunteer Group improved the outdated learning environment of the ‘Bethel Regional Children’s Center’ by replacing desks and bookshelves, and gifted tablet PCs to ensure smooth online learning amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, providing children with a comfortable learning environment.
They also shared snacks prepared at the newly renovated center with the children, encouraging them to nurture their dreams.
