Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association Joins United Nations Global Compact
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association announced on the 9th that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).
The UNGC is the world's largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative under the UN, launched in July 2000. Since then, 14,000 companies and organizations from 157 countries worldwide have joined as members, with about 240 member companies participating in the Republic of Korea.
With this membership, Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association plans to internalize the UNGC's 10 principles across its 4 main areas and actively carry out community-based social contribution activities to create meaningful social value in local communities.

With this membership, we will promote social contribution activities based on global standards and strive to become a financial cooperative leading social value.”
