[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hana Bank announced on the 9th that it has launched a special savings product offering up to 12% annual interest in partnership with Samsung Card.
The newly introduced 'Hana Ilrineun Savings' provides up to 12% interest for customers who have not used Samsung Card in the past six months and either spend at least 10,000 KRW monthly using the 'Samsung Amex Blue Card' or accumulate a total spending of 300,000 KRW or more over three months.
The product features significantly relaxed preferential interest rate conditions compared to other special savings products. The company stated that by offering preferential interest rates simply by meeting the card usage conditions, many customers can benefit.
Subscriptions can be made through the bank's mobile banking app, Hana One Q. The monthly deposit amount for this product is 100,000 KRW, with a subscription period of one year. Sales are limited to the first 50,000 customers starting from today. Additionally, as a launch event, the first 2,000 customers will receive a limited edition emoticon of Hana Bank model and soccer player Son Heung-min.
