[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) will hold a "Healing Music Concert" to overcome COVID-19 blues on the 11th and 18th from 12:20 PM to 1:00 PM.
This performance, planned to comfort residents exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, will present familiar and beautiful songs such as "Nella Fantasia," the OST from the movie "La La Land," and the OST from the animation "Howl's Moving Castle" through live performances to welcome late autumn.
The first performance on the 11th, held at the "Daeryung Technotown 18th Plaza," will feature the "E&I Ensemble," who will present classical and popular music in their own style through violin, cello, and acoustic guitar performances.
Following that, the second performance on the 18th will be held at the "Gasan SKV1 Center Plaza," where the crossover music group "SoriB," consisting of violin, guitar, haegeum, and flute players, will deliver a performance showcasing the exquisite harmony between Western and traditional Korean instruments.
Meanwhile, the district will strictly adhere to social distancing guidelines and quarantine rules such as temperature checks, mandatory mask-wearing, and distancing between audience members to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the performances.
Geumcheon-gu Mayor Yuseong Hoon said, "This performance is prepared so that office workers or residents in the G-Valley area can comfortably and without burden enjoy it during lunchtime," adding, "I hope it provides a small rest and comfort to residents struggling with COVID-19 blues."
