On the same day, Tae wrote on Facebook, "Biden has secured the final victory in the U.S. presidential election, and the denuclearization show that Trump conducted with Kim Jong-un has come to an end."
Tae referred to the exchanges between Trump and North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un as a "bromance," pointing out, "The international community was greatly confused by the scenes of Trump and Kim Jong-un in Singapore, the breakdown of talks in Hanoi, and then the subsequent exchange of letters showcasing their bromance."
He continued, "It seems that this kind of show, which has confused the world, will no longer occur?whether these two were trying to resolve the nuclear issue or not."
He added, "However, whether Biden will also follow the FM approach on the North Korean nuclear issue is something we cannot be assured of." He noted, "Biden suddenly mentioned that 'if North Korea reduces its nuclear capabilities, he could meet Kim Jong-un.' If Biden's statement refers to nuclear reduction, it essentially means nuclear disarmament, so caution is necessary."
Tae pointed out that Biden has not announced a concrete roadmap on how he will handle the North Korean nuclear issue going forward.
He claimed, "North Korea is also changing. Looking at North Korea's recent trends related to the U.S. presidential election, it appears very cautious, mature, and calculating."
He further said that Kim Yo-jong told the U.S., which is dealing with the North Korean nuclear issue, "Instead of scheming to take away the nuclear weapons, it would be easier and more beneficial to ensure that the nuclear weapons do not threaten your own country," analyzing, "This is a simultaneous proposal to Trump and Biden that the Hanoi deal, which Trump presented, is unrealistic, and that negotiations should proceed in the direction of eliminating a few ICBMs."
He emphasized, "If the U.S., tired of nuclear negotiations, starts a new nuclear negotiation by only focusing on a few of North Korea's ICBMs, this would mark the beginning of a very dangerous situation," elaborating, "This means recognizing North Korea as a nuclear-armed state and starting nuclear disarmament negotiations between North Korea and the U.S."
