Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) has started communicating with residents through video messages.
On the 5th, the district announced that it produced a video message titled "10 months of COVID-19, we will take better care of the safety and livelihood of Jungnang residents!" and broadcast it through the official Jungnang-gu YouTube channel.
This video message to residents was prepared to express gratitude to the residents who endured daily inconveniences and actively participated in quarantine activities to overcome COVID-19.
This video, the fifth following those in February and August, also includes content about quarantine rules that can easily become lax due to the easing to Level 1.
Through the video, Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi delivered a sincere message to residents who actively cooperated with over 20,000 screening tests, including 6,235 group-wide tests at schools, hospitals, and nursing facilities.
Additionally, he comforted residents who endured restrictions on religious activities, group activities, and livelihoods during the past three months when social distancing was raised to Level 2 and 2.5, including about 5,300 residents in self-quarantine, drawing attention.
Moreover, he mentioned support programs such as the New Hope Fund, Employment Retention Subsidy, Emergency Livelihood Support for Vulnerable Households, Todak Todak Mental Health Counseling Center, Care SOS Center, and Dementia Safety Center, reaffirming the commitment to carefully protect the safety and livelihood of Jungnang residents going forward.
