Eunpyeong-gu Secures Public Property by Finding Hidden Unregistered Land
Plan to secure ownership by analyzing various records such as land registers, public property management registers, cadastral maps, survey results, and conducting field verification to identify land not registered in the registry and reviewing the responsible entity.
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung·photo) announced plans to identify unregistered land and land with area discrepancies within the district, and to take measures to protect rights as public property and correct errors.
The district plans to discover land not registered in the registry by analyzing various records such as the land register, public property management ledger, cadastral maps, and survey results, and conducting on-site inspections. After reviewing the responsible entity, they will secure ownership rights.
In addition, they plan to correct errors for district-owned land where the area in the registry does not match the land register or actual area.
Through this focused investigation on unregistered land and area discrepancies, a total of 25 parcels of land, with a standard price of 4.148 billion KRW, are expected to be organized as public property.
In February this year, Eunpyeong-gu also completed registration requests for a total of 36 unregistered district-owned properties (21 buildings, 15 lands) valued at 13.627 billion KRW by conducting a full survey of Saeol public property electronic data based on real estate registration information, computerized land register data, and computerized building management ledger data, in collaboration with various departments, thereby securing rights to district-owned assets.
The identified properties are reflected in the Eunpyeong-gu public property electronic management ledger, serving as accurate basic data for property management and contributing to the expansion of non-tax revenue by being utilized as Eunpyeong-gu assets.
