KOCCA to Host Korea-Japan Content Business Online Forum on the 12th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency will hold the '2020 Korea-Japan Content Business Online Forum' on the 12th, focusing on Korea-Japan collaboration and global expansion.
At this forum, representatives from Japanese content companies active in five fields?▲webtoons ▲animation ▲characters ▲online video services (OTT) ▲dramas?will participate as speakers.
Park Seung-ryong, Head of Overseas Business Division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, said, "Due to COVID-19, the 'stay-at-home' culture has taken root worldwide, increasing interest in our K-content. We hope this forum will be an important opportunity to explore not only the rekindling of the Korean Wave in Japan but also the potential for future Korea-Japan collaboration."
The forum will be held online in a non-face-to-face format to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Anyone can watch by pre-registering through the forum secretariat website (https://kissent.jp/answers/contentbusinessonlineforum/new) by 12:00 PM on the 10th.
