Daily sales increased by 118% compared to total sales for the entire month of October
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Cuckoo Electronics announced on the 5th that its sales on November 1st, the start of China's largest shopping festival 'Guanggunje (Singles' Day)', increased by 118% compared to the total sales recorded throughout October.
Earlier, Cuckoo Electronics directly entered Alibaba's 'Tmall', China's leading e-commerce platform, as a Korean headquarters-operated seller. From October 21st to 31st, before the start of Guanggunje, they actively conducted pre-order promotions for 10 models centered on electric rice cookers.
According to Cuckoo Electronics, the leading models in China, 'CRP-AHB1010FD' and 'CRP-HVB068SE', drove this sales performance due to high preference among local consumers. Given China's vast territory where various rice varieties are cultivated and a developed culinary culture, the demand for rice cooker models equipped with diverse recipes has steadily increased.
Additionally, the twin pressure models 'CRP-JHTR1085FG' and 'CRP-JHTR0685' saw a surge in sales thanks to localized features such as Chinese voice guidance and enhanced porridge manuals tailored to Chinese tastes, along with stylish designs.
