[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Visits 'Nowon Job Fair' and 'Startup Regional Economy Festival'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 4th at 12:30 PM, Oh Seung-rok, the district mayor, visited the '2020 Nowon Job Fair' and 'Startup & Local Economy Festival' held at Deungnamu Culture Park and Junggye Neighborhood Park in Junggye-dong.
The job fair involved about 40 companies conducting one-on-one on-site interviews to hire 630 people, and over 50 companies reviewed applications received at the fair to hire about 120 people.
Additionally, nine related organizations, including the Nowon-gu Job Counseling Center, participated to provide job registration and placement services.
Across the overpass at Junggye Neighborhood Park, the Startup & Local Economy Festival was held to promote youth startup culture and raise interest in the local economy. At 75 booths, visitors could explore various startup idea products from companies residing in the startup incubation center and excellent university startup clubs.
The event was held from 10 AM to 4 PM on the 4th and 5th. Mayor Oh Seung-rok visited the venue that day, toured the facilities, and inspected the site.
