“Beyond the Country is My Workplace”… KOTRA Publishes Collection of Overseas Employment Stories
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] KOTRA announced on the 4th that it has published a collection of essays titled 'Youth Going Abroad, JOBbing the World,' which contains success stories of our youth finding employment overseas.
Started in 2017, this is the fourth edition of the collection, featuring stories of 30 young Koreans employed in various countries such as Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam. Each story includes vivid experiences covering reasons for employment, preparation processes, interview methods, job-hunting know-how, and adaptation after joining the company.
The collection includes many helpful cases, such as ▲ securing a job at a Singapore logistics company after multiple rejections from large domestic corporations ▲ succeeding in getting a job at a US broadcasting company by showing strong determination during the interview ▲ realizing the dream of working at a domestic financial company through its overseas branch in Vietnam.
'Youth Going Abroad, JOBbing the World' will be available for free download starting from the 6th on ‘HaeChwiTogether,’ an overseas employment cafe operated by KOTRA. It will also be distributed to overseas employment-related organizations and schools.
