Grand Prize at Korean Editing Awards Goes to 'Today, Three People Could Not Leave Work'
The Korea Editing Journalists Association (President Shin In-seop) announced the 10 winning works of the 26th Korea Editing Awards on the 3rd. The Korea Editing Awards were selected through first and second round judging by a panel of judges and a vote by all members, targeting pages edited over the past year from 52 member companies nationwide.
The Grand Prize was awarded to "Three People Could Not Leave Work Again Today" by Deputy Chief Jang Yong-seok, Lee Jong-hee, and Kim Yong-bae of Kyunghyang Shinmun. The Excellence Awards went to "Ssangyong Motor's Short Morning... Again, the Night Deepens" by Jang Ju-seok, Yeon Ju-hoon, and Deputy Chief Seong Ok-hee of Kyeongin Ilbo, and "North Korea's Heart is Strange" by Seo Ban-seok of Chosun Ilbo. Seven works received Merit Awards, including "Rain... Endless Mountains of Trash Rain... Insufficient Recovery Personnel Rain... Disaster Budget is Depleted" by Deputy Chief Park Jae-deok of Dong-A Ilbo.

The awards ceremony will be held on the 18th of this month at 7:30 PM in the Maehwa Hall on the 19th floor of the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.
