Gyeongsan City, Health Administration Department Staff Conduct Environmental Cleanup Along Namcheon River
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsan City, Gyeongbuk Province (Mayor Choi Young-jo) announced on the 2nd that employees of the Health Administration Division conducted a volunteer environmental cleanup activity along the Namcheon Riverside on October 31.
About 30 employees from the Health Administration Division, town and township health centers, and health clinics participated in the environmental cleanup activity that day. They collected various trash such as discarded cigarette butts, snack wrappers, and empty bottles around the Namcheon Riverside walking trail, while also promoting COVID-19 social distancing and personal quarantine guidelines.
