Gwangju University Hosts 'Gwangju RE Market' to Support Entrepreneurs

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyukjong) announced on the 1st that the Startup Support Group will hold the 'Gwangju RE Market' at Gwangju Shinsegae Department Store until the 3rd to support Gwangju startups.
Held in cooperation with over 40 local startup-related organizations including Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology and Gwangsan-gu Business Doctor Center, this 'Gwangju RE Market' featured a total of 25 promising startup companies.
It was organized to develop distribution channels and promote sales of products from startups in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
The Gwangju University Startup Support Group plans to select outstanding startups for follow-up support and linkage with regional projects.
Choi Wanseok, head of the Gwangju University Startup Support Group, said, "I hope this Gwangju RE Market will become a milestone that continuously produces results based on the network among startup-related organizations."
Meanwhile, the Gwangju University Startup Support Group is conducting the 'GU Crowdfunding' program until the 2nd, with participation from more than 30 VC investors nationwide to discover and nurture startups in the region.
