Tourism Hub Cities and Korean Cultural Festivals... Online Event Until the 29th
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The '2020 Korean Culture Festival (K-Culture Festival)' linked with regional tourism hub cities will be held online from the 2nd to the 29th.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 1st that it has prepared a festival for people around the world in cooperation with the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange to create potential inbound tourism demand and revitalize the regional economy.
At this festival, major tourist attractions and cultural products from Mokpo, Jeonju, Gangneung, and Andong will be introduced, and K-pop performances featuring about 50 popular singer groups will be showcased. An online special sales exhibition, the 'Hallyu Culture Market (K-Culture Market),' will also be operated.
The K-pop performances can be viewed every Sunday at 12:05 AM for four weeks starting from the 8th on SBS and YouTube channels 'Korean Culture Festival,' 'SBS KPOP,' and 'Korea.net.'
