Gwanak-gu, Special Art Therapy Lecture for COVID-19 Blues Overcoming Targeting Parents of Elementary, Middle, and High School Students

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) will conduct an online art psychology education special lecture to alleviate COVID-19 blues for parents of elementary, middle, and high school students in the area.
This aims to provide an opportunity to overcome COVID-19 blues by managing emotions healthily through art, addressing parents' depression and anxiety caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the childcare burden from remote schooling.
The education will be held for about 20 parents of elementary, middle, and high school students in the area, every Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, from October 30 to November 13.
Before the education starts, participants will receive a text message with the access link, and the live online education will be conducted using the video program ZOOM, including ▲real-time practice discussions ▲Q&A ▲analysis and feedback sessions.
The lecture topics include ▲creating a happy family through healthy emotion management ▲improving self-leadership ▲emotion coaching skill enhancement, conducted over a total of three sessions.
The district expects that through this education, parents exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic will express their inner world through art, learn healthy emotion management methods, overcome COVID-19 blues, support healthy child-rearing, and contribute to creating happy families.
