Gwangjin-gu Idea Bank Outstanding Proposal Awards Ceremony
On the 29th, the 'Idea Bank District Residents and University Students Excellent Proposal Awards and Meeting' Held... Seven Proposals Awarded Including 'Shade Shelter Using Solar Panels' Proposed by Lee Chang-bae from Junggok-dong
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) held the ‘6th Idea Bank Excellent Proposal Awards and Meeting’ on the 29th.
The ‘Idea Bank’ is a resident proposal channel newly operated since the 7th local government term to reflect various opinions and creative ideas of residents in district policies.
This awards ceremony was divided into two parts: Part 1 for awarding excellent proposals from residents, and Part 2 for awarding excellent proposals from university students.
First, in Part 1, among 50 resident ideas received from last October to this June, a total of 7 excellent ideas were awarded after review by the proposal evaluation committee.
The awarded works included innovative ideas in various fields such as welfare, transportation, and environment, including the ‘Shade using solar panels’ proposed by resident Chang-bae Lee from Junggok-dong.
In Part 2, students from Konkuk University who participated in the ‘University Student Policy Participation Program’ held in July and presented seven policy ideas were awarded.
The ‘University Student Policy Participation Program’ is part of the Policy Participation Project of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, and the district held a results report meeting last July to share students’ policy ideas in collaboration between government and academia.
The district is sharing ideas derived from the ‘University Student Policy Participation Program’ and promoting the ‘Youth and Gwangjin Together Project’ to realize them as policies.
Among the policy ideas proposed by university students, the district reviewed feasible projects with relevant departments and finally adopted the proposal to introduce a ‘Pilot Project for Pre-Education of Pet Owners,’ which will be promoted from next year.
The event concluded with the students who proposed the adopted project and Mayor Kim Seon-gap signing the ‘Plan for Promoting the Pilot Project for Pre-Education of Pet Owners’ together.
