View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Actor the late Kim Joo-hyuk marked the third anniversary of his death today (the 30th).
Kim Joo-hyuk passed away at the age of 45 due to an accident that occurred near Yeongdong-daero in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on October 30, 2017. The late actor was laid to rest at the family columbarium in Daero-ri, Daesan-eup, Seosan-si, Chungnam.
Kim Joo-hyuk debuted in 1998 as part of SBS's 8th public talent recruitment. He actively participated in the entertainment industry with works such as the films YMCA Baseball Team, Singles, Gwang-sik's Younger Brother Gwang-tae, My Wife Got Married, The Servant, and the KBS variety show 1 Night 2 Days Season 3.
The late actor played the role of Jin Ha-rim in his final film Believer, for which he received several awards including Best Supporting Actor at the 55th Daejong Film Awards, Best Supporting Actor at the 39th Blue Dragon Film Awards, and Best Male Supporting Actor in the film category at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Meanwhile, commemorating the third anniversary, singer Defconn posted, "I visited Gu-taengi hyung (Kim Joo-hyuk) at his grave this morning. Many people still miss and remember Joo-hyuk hyung. Today, I miss his warm smile even more," expressing his tribute.
On the same day, actor Bong Tae-gyu shared a photo of Kim Joo-hyuk during his lifetime on his social network service (SNS) with the caption, "Time flies so fast, hyung-ah."
Bong Tae-gyu previously worked alongside Kim Joo-hyuk in the film Gwang-sik's Younger Brother Gwang-tae.
