[Photo] Korea Forest Service Operates Autumn Wildfire Prevention Headquarters
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 30th that it held a plaque unveiling ceremony for the "Central Wildfire Prevention Countermeasures Headquarters" at the Central Forest Disaster Situation Room in the Government Daejeon Complex. The Countermeasures Headquarters will operate during the "Autumn Wildfire Prevention Period" from November 1 to December 15 and will be responsible for implementing wildfire prevention measures according to causes during this period. In addition, in the event of a wildfire, it will focus on minimizing damage in cooperation with related organizations.
