Dongmyung University (President Jeong Hong-seop) Laboratory Startup Innovation Group (Director No Seong-yeo) concluded the "Colloquium for Revitalizing Laboratory Startups" held every Tuesday for four weeks until October 27, targeting universities in the Southeast and Jeju regions.
In the colloquium held on October 6 in the Ulsan region, October 13 in the Gyeongnam region, October 20 in the Busan region, and October 27 in the Jeju region, startup education and technology commercialization officials, professors, and graduate students from 15 universities shared the status of the startup ecosystem, startup education, and laboratory startups, and provided in-depth views and discussions on revitalizing laboratory startups.
Director No Seong-yeo said, "It has become a good stepping stone to bridge the gap in startup education and laboratory startups between regions," adding, "We will strive to realize the various proposed measures to revitalize laboratory startups."
The Dongmyung University Laboratory Startup Innovation Group was selected in 2020 for the "Public Technology-Based Market-Linked Startup Exploration Support Project," discovering laboratory startup exploration teams in the Southeast and Jeju regions and operating regional laboratory startup revitalization programs.
