According to the Yeongdeungpo Police Station, the man climbed onto the arch at around 11:23 a.m. on the 29th carrying a container filled with gasoline and has not come down as of 4 p.m.
The police and fire authorities, who responded to the report, are controlling one of the four lanes from the southern end to the northern end of Yanghwa Bridge and have installed an air mattress to carry out rescue operations.
